Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Developer with extensive experience in Android app development and proficiency in C++. As a Senior Android Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, optimize existing code, and ensure the reliability and responsiveness of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
Collaborate with product management, design, and backend teams to define requirements and implement new features.
Optimize application performance and memory usage to ensure smooth operation on a wide range of Android devices.
Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs to enhance application functionality.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by QA or end-users and implement timely fixes.
Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize C++ for performance-critical components or for interfacing with low-level system APIs when necessary.
Qualification:
5-7 years of experience in Android app development, with familiarity with jetpack compose and Kotlin.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices for mobile app development.
Familiarity with C++ programming language and its integration with Android applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
An understanding of how to make apps scalable and resilient, with the testing know-how to prove that they are.
Prior use of distributed source code systems in a professional environment (e.g., GitHub)
Familiar with different UI models (e.g. MVI, MVVM)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE...
Experience with AppCenter, Expresso, C+
- A history writing Deployment and/or Test Automation
Worked with GCP and GCP products, such as Firebase
Familiar with NoSQL/Document databases, such as Firestore and MongoDB
Familiarity with full stack interactions
Experience with SCRUM
Familiar with nestjs, nextjs
Familiar with cloud/web development
Familiar with GitHub Ci/CD tools
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Prior leadership experience or roles in tech lead capacities.
