Title: Customer Care Representative (I) – SBOnet

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

The SBOnet Technical Support position supports NCRs web-based application(s) used by quick service restaurants and operators across all geographies in the US. This position is responsible for installing SBOnet software, auditing, and troubleshooting real time polling and errors in reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide technical onboarding support for new subscribers

  • Complete daily and real time audits of data

  • Connect to customers using connectivity tools to resolve issues remotely

  • Assist SBOnet subscribers with questions regarding reporting issues or feature requests and concerns

  • Document new features and common questions in our knowledge base

  • Provide written and verbal reports as required

  • Troubleshoot SBOnet installations to resolution on two or more point of sale (POS) platforms

Level I

  • Interact and troubleshoot issues reported by SBOnet users

  • Support SBOnet users via phone and email

  • Provide written and verbal reports as required

  • Suggest features that that will help users be successful using NCR’s systems

Required Qualifications:

  • US working hours

  • Associates degree in Computer Science or technical trade school, or 3-5 years of experience in a technical role; progressive experience required for advanced levels

  • Practical experience with PCs

  • Understanding of SQL

  • Understanding of Networks is required

  • A strong interest in the restaurant technology industry and the ability to empathize with restaurant managers and operators

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

  • Possess the accountability and personal responsibility to own and drive results

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the customer support or restaurant industry

  • Experience with SBOnet or a similar product; concepts, practices and procedures preferred

  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
