Job Title: DevOps EngineerGrade: 11

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven DevOps Engineer with a robust background in scripting, programming, and a keen interest in automation. The ideal candidate will take charge of deploying software packages, implementing process automation, and optimizing existing procedures. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in building, testing, and deploying software while contributing to the continuous enhancement of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes, ensuring software releases adhere to established schedules.

  • Design and implement tools and scripts for process automation, enhancing efficiency in software development and delivery.

  • Document, review, and enhance new and existing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the DevOps environment.

  • Analyze logs, extracting relevant details to ensure seamless integration across various products and components.

  • Adapt to operationally specific scenarios, following best practices and incorporating new operational changes as needed.

  • Generate analytics reports and automate reporting processes for extracting crucial information from various systems.

  • Serve as a central point of contact to triage and escalate incidents, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Participate in team meetings, share knowledge with colleagues, and contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing processes and tools.

  • Provide on-call support as part of Daily and/or Out-of-Hours activities, ensuring customer needs are met.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (C#, Java, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation and process improvement.

  • Proven experience with software deployment tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Ansible, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).

  • Solid grasp of software systems, networking, and endpoint security.

  • Previous experience with database queries (SQL) and database structure.

  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences is a plus.

  • 3+ years of related experience.
