What we build:
We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our expanding product development team in Belgrade. Your challenge will be to help build the future of banking across hundreds of clients. Our software engineers write code that moves billions of dollars every month, enduring the pressure of hundreds of thousands of requests per minute. Digital Banking is an API based microservices application with web-based and mobile UX.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Computer science or related field, or proven work experience in Software Development)
5+ years of experience developing software applications using Java
Proven experience working on complex enterprise software systems
Understanding of core computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming
Experience in designing and building customer facing RESTful APIs for SaaS based cloud platforms. Some of API development tools (Swagger, Postman, Apigee, Sandbox, SoapUI)
Hands on experience with using Spring Boot framework
IntelliJ IDE experience desirable
Experience in CI/CD using tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git etc.
Experience with Modern database Technologies like SQL (PostGres etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB etc.)
Experience with Java EE Application servers like Apache Tomcat
Experience working with Container Technology (Docker) and Native & Hybrid Cloud environment
Must have proven experience working in an Agile environment
Must have experience working with ticket management system, preferably JIRA
Excellent communication and team player with can-do attitude
Proven English written and oral communication skills
Team player focused on working towards achieving team/project success
Ability to work independently with little direction
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in banking business
Experience with SAFe methodologies
Deep knowledge and understanding to create secure solutions by design
Multi-threaded backend environments with concurrent users
