TITLE: Data Analyst

LOCATION: Serbia, Belgrade

GRADE: 10

NCR is expanding the volume and depth of the data it receives from the devices it sells and services to improve the quality and efficiency of the service provided to its customers.

An exciting new position has arisen in the NCR Services Engineering team for a Data Analyst with proven data analytics and visualization capabilities to provide analytics on the data from the end points.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Build solutions to detect error patterns in the systems log data for alerting

  • Build Tableau Dashboards providing insight to the health of the end points based on the log data

  • Build Tableau Dashboards to monitor the data quality

  • Provide analytics and feedback on the effectiveness of the alerting and resulting service engineer actions.

  • Enhance existing on-site capability, via the mobile phone, to provide analysis and alerting based on logs pulled from the end points.

  • Use of best practices in Database Design, Business Intelligence, Configuration Management, Unit Test and Product Test to iteratively build out dashboard solutions

  • Integrate data from a range of different systems

  • Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business

  • Provide regular reports to the business as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or other related field

  • 4+ years of related experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Competency to create and maintain complex SQL queries

  • Experience with SQlite, Aster, Oracle, Hadoop Databases

  • Worked with Tableau or similar BI / Visualization tool

  • Python and R experience would be an advantage

  • Excel (including VBA in Excel and charts)

  • Ability to thrive in a team setting as well as excel independently and autonomously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical co-workers.

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
